The Academy is proud to once again offer a variety of After- School Club options and Aftercare! In addition to ACE run clubs and Aftercare, we are glad to be partnering with SciGenius to host a number of NEW science, robotics, and Minecraft based club offerings. We will also continue our partnership with Silver Knights Enrichment for our Coding and Chess Clubs. Check out the Club Page for more information and sign up online for 2017-2018 clubs!
This year, ACE will once again be partnering with local restaurants and SmartLunches to provide Hot Lunch Options.

Meet the Teacher Day is an opportunity for students to meet their teachers and see their classrooms before school starts. Since we ask that parents not accompany children into the building on the First Day of School (too much congestion, too many tears), this is a great time for parents and their children to see the school and to get to know the teachers.
Meet the Teacher Day will be Thursday, August 31st, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Student placements in classes are made with great care by the administration. Student class placements will be posted on Meet the Teacher Day. Parents are responsible for their own children at Meet the Teacher Day and should plan to stay for about 20 minutes to give all families an opportunity to talk with the teachers. There are no activities planned for this time, and the playground will not be open to students.
There will be an opportunity to sign-up for clubs and to purchase lunch boxes and used uniforms on Meet the Teacher Day.
This Fall, in lieu of having Class Dinners & a Picnic, the APL has decided to combine these events into one Great Kickoff Celebration!!!
The Academy APL will be hosting an all inclusive Family Picnic on October 21st from 12:00-5:00 p.m. at Turkey Run Park in McLean, Virginia. Come on out with your whole family for this fun-filled event! Meet your child’s teacher, get to know other ACE families, play field games, jump in a moon bounce…and take advantage of the Amazon misting station! Families will also receive entry into Claude Moore Colonial Park and will enjoy lunch and yummy treats throughout the whole afternoon.
The cost will be $75.00 per family (2 adults and 2 children, $40.00 per additional adult, $20.00 per additional child). We sincerely encourage each family to set aside this time to invest in relating with other ACE families and believe that you will be blessed by your time with us. Register online or go to our Fall Picnic Page for more information!
The Academy of Christian Education is honored to have been named by Northern Virginia Magazine among the Best Summer Camps in Northern Virginia!
ACE's Passport to Adventure Summer Camp has been a huge success this summer! Campers traveled the world as they studied different wonders - learning about different climates, plants, animals, and cultures around the world.
We've been off on a tour full of adventures, surprises, and fun! Campers enjoyed fun activities, academic enrichment and development, and explored the local area through field trips and in-house performances. We had a blast each and every day!!!
Thank you to the many families and campers who have joined us these past weeks We have had a wonderful summer!
