Toddlers - Elementary
Construction is well underway (and near completion) at our new school building! Carpet has been laid and tile put down for the entire first floor. All major construction is complete, walls, plumbing, cabling, electricity, and HVAC are all in place. It’s hard to believe that most of the rest of the work is cosmetic - all of those important things that transform construction sites into beautiful buildings!
The ACE Staff had the opportunity before the floor was laid to go to see the building. We were encouraged to pray over the school and write Scripture on the concrete. Writing on the floors (which will be covered by carpet and flooring), was very special and symbolic of how we desire to be founded on God’s word at ACE. We are overwhelmed at what God has done to bring us into such a wonderful new space and pray that He would fill this school with students for many years to come!!!
We are wrapping up a wonderful 6 weeks of Summer Camp at ACE! Our camp was STEAM themed, focused on the topics of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Students enjoyed field trips each week to places such as the Route 11 Potato Chip Factory and the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum. Students played games, enjoyed water activities, Learning Lab activities, Bible time, fun academics, and more!
Thank you to so many families for allowing your students to spend the summer with us - and to the many staff members to worked so hard to provide such a wonderful camp for your students.
Look out in January for information about the 2017 ACE Best Summer Camp Ever!

This Fall, we will begin the school year a few days later than originally planned. We have decided to start school on September 12th to ensure that construction will be complete in the new building and that we will have adequate time to ensure that everything will be up, running, and fully functional when classes begin. We will be adding two days to the end of the school year, which lines up with the Fairfax County School System. We will also eliminate the Teacher In-Service day originally scheduled for Friday, October 7th, and the January Parent / Teacher Conference Day. We are very excited to see all of our students and start school in September!
